About The Position

Bosch Rexroth, dba HydraForce, Inc. is seeking a Grinder I to grind parts to conform to blueprints/drawings. This role is responsible for operating grinding machines, verifying tolerances, reporting variances, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position requires adherence to all safety regulations and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Enthusiastic to learn the trade of precision grinding
Comfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers (digital or dial), roundness gauge, comparator, cylindricity gauge
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
Computer skills, intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office
Ability to read blueprints
Must be able to meet quality and entry level productivity standards
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team
Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must have US work authorization.

Responsibilities

Operate grinding machines while maintaining blueprint specifications
With assistance from the Team Lead or Supervisor, verify tolerances by performing inspection
Report any variances to the supervisor
Bring completed orders to shipping
Maintain a clean work environment
Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
