Grilled Cheese Specialist
About The Position
We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Grilled Cheese Specialist to join our Toasted Barrel restaurant team. In this role, you’ll craft elevated grilled cheese sandwiches and comfort-style menu items with consistency, creativity, and care, ensuring every dish meets our quality and presentation standards. You’ll maintain a clean and organized kitchen, follow food safety guidelines, and provide a welcoming experience through your dedication to great food and teamwork. Ideal candidates have a love for cooking, a positive attitude, and a desire to deliver memorable guest experiences one sandwich at a time. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements
- Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment

Responsibilities
- Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel
- Ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times
- Receiving food and beverage orders as needed
- Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests
- Preparing and plating all food items on the menu
- Using hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service
