About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and team-oriented Grill Cook for its rewarding team at Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn. We are hiring for Full Time!

Requirements

High school diploma and or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Well developed and multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detailed oriented.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Candidate must be dependable and reliable.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required

Responsibilities

Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
Prepares and cooks meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other food products according to established recipes and quality standards.
Operates and maintains grills, broilers, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitors cooking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure food is cooked to the proper specifications.
Maintains consistency in portion sizes, doneness, seasoning, temperature, and presentation of all food products.
Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products.
Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, and all storage areas.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines.
Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense.
Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene.
Comply with department’s dress code.
Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor.
Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings, evenings.
