Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid County Food Handler Card must be on file and in possession each shift.
Ability to perform basic math related to food preparation and recipes.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service environment.
Must pass pre-employment background check and basic math/US monetary assessment.

Nice To Haves

Preferred ServSafe Certification.
Preferred two (2) or more years of high-volume kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
Prepare, cook, and plate food items according to approved recipes and quality standards.
Handle food products from raw preparation through cooking, holding, plating, service, and/or display.
Ensure all food products are prepared, held, and served at correct temperatures.
Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and dating of all food products.
Always use proper utensils, equipment, and portion standards.
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area during and after events.
Clean kitchen areas during and after events, leaving them in a ready state for future use.
Properly use and care for kitchen equipment and cooking utensils.
Work collaboratively with team members while also performing tasks independently.
Assist with re-stocking of food items as assigned.
Perform opening and closing procedures and assigned cleaning duties.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and Craft Culinary Concepts policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
