About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Grill Cook to join our culinary team in Key Biscayne. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking burgers, sandwiches, breakfast items, and other made-to-order menu items while following recipes, portion standards, food safety procedures, and quality expectations. Candidates with previous experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, Cook, Kitchen Cook, or in a similar high-volume kitchen role are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is organized, works with a sense of urgency, and can keep the grill station clean, stocked, and ready for service. The schedule may include rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, Cook, Kitchen Cook, or in a similar position preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and safe food handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, portion standards, and operating procedures.
  • Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to work with a sense of urgency.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook burgers, sandwiches, breakfast items, and other made-to-order menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and quality procedures.
  • Operate the grill safely and efficiently while keeping the station organized, stocked, and ready for service.
  • Verify product quality, proper cooking, portioning, presentation, and consistency before serving.
  • Perform basic food preparation and restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Maintain equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with food safety, sanitation, and safe food-handling procedures.
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team to provide fast and accurate service during high-volume periods.
  • Support other food preparation and kitchen duties as needed based on operational requirements.
