About The Position

This is a part-time position at Jerry's Foods Eden Prairie, reporting to the Kitchen Manager/Deli Manager/Restaurant Manager. The role involves preparing products, filling and rotating cases, maintaining a clean and sanitary store, and working collaboratively with the team. Individuals should be willing to make lasting connections with customers and handle various food preparation tasks, including potentially pork. The position requires some heavy lifting and operation of various equipment.

Requirements

Willingness to make lasting connections with customers
Ability to prepare products including a variety of vegetables, sauces and main meals (may have to handle pork)
Ability to fill and rotate cases and displays with food products (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs)
Ability to help maintain a clean and sanitary store
Ability to work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
Ability to arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled
Lifting/carrying to 50 lbs.
Pushing/pulling 500 to 1500 pounds
Walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting
Operation of scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and intercom
Operation of pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils
