Are you someone who can speak fluently across both the regulatory landscape and the technical realities of power system interconnection? Do you thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments where no two projects are alike? Are you motivated by the conviction that getting interconnection right is foundational to the clean energy transition? If this sounds like you, or you're curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity. Join our Power Systems Department as our new Interconnection Expert and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. You will be part of an elite team of power system engineers and play a pivotal role in delivering advanced solutions for a wide variety of clients, including energy-intensive industries like semiconductor manufacturing, municipal entities, data center mega campuses, and pioneers in renewable energy. With our substantial growth, seize the opportunity to shape our strategy and contribute to our agile team's rich pipeline of projects. With growth horizons in cutting-edge domains like HVDC, solar photovoltaics, and offshore wind, our energetic and inventive team, bolstered by global specialists, is committed to advancing Ramboll's reach across the US, notably in states championing progressive climate objectives and sustainability measures. At the heart of our mission is the conviction that electricity is the cornerstone of the green transition toward a carbon-neutral future. Join us in our unwavering pursuit to realize this vision. As our new Interconnection Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor to developers, utilities, and other stakeholders navigating the large load or generator interconnection process across major ISO/RTO markets. You will bring a rare combination of regulatory fluency and technical depth, helping our clients anticipate process challenges, respond to study results, and drive projects through to successful queue completion. This is not a role defined by a single ISO or a single project type. Our clients operate across ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, ERCOT,MISO, and other markets, bringing projects ranging from offshore wind and large-scale solar PV to battery storage. What ties it all together is the need for someone who can bridge regulatory process and power systems engineering with equal confidence.
