About The Position
Designer Greetings is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser to manage the greeting card department in a local store. The role involves maintaining card racks, managing product orders and reorders, and changing seasonal card displays. Service visits are flexible, but the merchandiser must be available after holidays to change displays to the new season. Each assignment is paid at a flat monthly rate, and training is provided. Merchandisers work as independent contractors.
Responsibilities
- Straighten product on all card racks.
- Put out product orders.
- Write up new reorders.
- Put up and take down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams.
- Process seasonal card returns after the holiday.
- Be available after holidays to change displays to the new season.
