Requirements

Previous customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with and assist patients, particularly the elderly or those requiring additional help.
Comfortable with technology, specifically iPads or tablets, with the ability to guide others in using them.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate to West Orange, NJ 07840 before starting work.
Must be vaccinated with the MMR and the yearly flu shot.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all patients entering the waiting room.
Enhance the waiting room ambiance by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and a soothing environment to ensure a pleasant and calm atmosphere for patients.
Open doors for patients as they arrive, offering a helping hand to those in need, especially for elderly or mobility-challenged individuals.
Assist patients, especially those from the aging population, with navigating iPads for check-in or any tech-related queries, guiding them through the process in a patient, clear, and understanding manner.
Facilitate a positive patient experience by addressing immediate needs, answering questions, and keeping patients informed about the next steps.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow and promptly address any concerns.
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
