About The Position

Knob Hill Golf Club in Englishtown, New Jersey, is hiring a seasonal part-time Greenskeeper. The role performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, including semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks. The position supports a positive experience for club members and guests while providing the opportunity to grow knowledge of golf club operations. The Greenskeeper works for Knob Hill Golf Club, an associate of Troon, a professional club management company.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance using riding and handheld equipment.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
• Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
• Perform course-detail tasks such as weed and debris cleanup.
• Assist with golf course setup procedures.
• Operate utility vehicles to haul material and remove debris.
• Perform skilled duties related to experience, such as pruning and plugging.
• Operate equipment safely while remaining aware of associates and their work areas.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
