About The Position

The Greenskeeper maintain the aesthetics and playability of the golf course by performing a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance. This role involves operating and maintaining utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines, and delivering excellent service standards. The Greenskeeper is expected to establish strong communication channels with teammates and uphold the resort's values and culture.

Requirements

Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service or manual areas
Valid Driver's License

Previous golf maintenance experience valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintains golf course using power and hand tools to perform duties such as: mowing, weeding, edging, course set up, raking sand bunkers, blowing, sod installation, fertilizing, planting flowers and shrubs.
Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, step cut and rough.
Rake sand bunkers by hand or with power rake.
String trim around trees, bunkers, flowerbeds, signs, ball washers etc.
Golf course set up.
Maintain flowerbeds.
Aerate greens, tees, fairways, approaches and rough.
Assist in small irrigation and drainage projects.
Edge cart paths, bunkers, irrigation heads, flowerbeds, and yardage stones.
Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
Perform any other such duties, as assigned.
