About The Position

The Golf Club at Lansdowne, managed by Troon Golf, is seeking a seasonal Full-Time Greenskeeper. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality playing conditions on the golf course, contributing to its aesthetic appeal, functionality, longevity, and ecological balance. The position is expected to last approximately six months, starting immediately with an anticipated end date in October 2026. The Golf Club at Lansdowne features 45 holes of championship golf designed by Robert Trent Jones and Greg Norman.

Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Responsibilities

Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
