About The Position

The Greenkeeper 1 will be required to perform basic maintenance to the club grounds. All employees should be punctual, have a good attitude, a strong work ethic and enjoy a team atmosphere. Pinehurst Country Club is current seeking a Part-Time, Seasonal, Greenskeeper I! The mission of Pinehurst Country Club is to cultivate a safe, vibrant, inclusive community and a welcoming atmosphere where families of all ages and backgrounds feel at home and enjoy exceptional service and facilities.

Requirements

No golf course experience necessary
Ability to operate small engine equipment
Ability to operate small utility vehicle assigned by supervisor
Ability to work as a member of a team
Basic knowledge of the game of golf
Detail oriented and interest in helping to maintain a high-end private club
Ability to produce information in written form.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to pay attention to detail and concentrate for 60 minutes or more with constant interruptions.
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds up to 50 feet.
Ability to perform manipulative skills that require hand-eye coordination such as a calculator or computer and be able to see objects closely as in typing a document or reading a report.
