Requirements

At least 16 years of age
Passion to learn and work as a team
Strong work ethic
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work hands-on with plant materials
Strong communication skills
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to perform repetitive motions for trimming and planting
Ability to work safely adjacent to moving conveyor belt equipment
Ability to remain in a stationary position or move about the greenhouse for the duration of a shift
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate footwear and securing loose hair/clothing around machinery

Responsibilities

Working at a cutting table to prep decorative boughs and accents (such as Spruce, Norway Spruce and Dogwood)
Working at a conveyor assembly line to insert these elements into finished decorative planters
Hand-watering plants
Staging plants onto carts
Moving and spacing plants for optimal growing
Cleaning and organizational projects around the greenhouse
