About The Position

The Greenhouse & Farm Inventory Specialist will oversee and report on plant and supplies inventories at our Minden Farm in real time. This position is responsible for assisting the Farm Managers with an efficient management and handling of the company's plant and supplies inventories to achieve the department goals and ensure the product is ready for Retail Sales.

Requirements

Valid Nevada driver's license with insurable driving record
Microsoft Office Products
Analytical thinking with strong mathematical skills
Strong verbal and written communications

Experience with SBI Grower Software
Greenhouse Growing Experience
Retail Garden Center Experience

Responsibilities

Upholds Moana Nursery's strict safety policies
Shows up on time ready work
Completes inventory of the newly planted/sown material in all the greenhouses right after planting using the Grower’s Planting Plans.
Maintains an accurate inventory of all the plant material and update any changes into SBI software on a daily basis to ensure that no shipping shortages are created due to lack/loss of inventory.
Produce weekly plant inventories reports and keep a real inventory in real time.
Set inventory to READY by week on SBI when needed so the customers can order online.
Print pick tickets for picking a day before of shipping to customers.
Scan the containers and conduct a final inventory of the shipment prior to loading it onto the truck to expedite the unloading material at the stores.
Communicate with customers to ensure they are aware of deliveries, any variances in the orders or any other issues related to the shipment.
Update and print invoices/acknowledgments for plant deliveries to customers.
Conduct regular (weekly to monthly) inventories to give the Growers real information needed for restocking production supplies.
SKU creation and catalog updating in SBI.
PO/Voucher creation
Tag Printing
Create end of the month reports for Accounting department.
Works with Greenhouse Team to complete farm activities as needed when inventory responsibilities are complete.
