About The Position

GreenDrop is rapidly expanding to make donating lightly used clothing and household items easy, convenient, and eco-friendly. By partnering with nonprofit organizations, we redirect millions of pounds of quality, pre-owned items away from landfills and back into closets and homes for reuse. GreenDrop accepts donations on behalf of our nonprofit partners and pays them for those items, providing critical funding for their missions. Community donated goods are then given a second chance to be loved again in local thrift stores. The GreenDrop Bookstore Ambassador role is critical to our success and helps to ensure that we reach our goal of providing exceptional service to both our donors and our customers every day. As donors arrive, this position will create a welcoming experience by greeting each donor, unloading the donations from their vehicles, ensuring customer donations are properly recorded, providing an overall welcoming, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service experience while also performing general recovery duties.
