About The Position

The Grease Route Driver is responsible for the operation of a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to our customers. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness of containers and surrounding areas, maintaining company vehicles, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The driver will also be responsible for customer relations and completing all required paperwork.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years old with clean MVR.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating similar vehicle to grease route truck.
Current CDL A license holder with proper endorsements.
Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Prior route experience within a customer oriented environment.

Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
Good math and communication skills.
Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; return container with screen and lock secured.
Note any damages to container or corral area.
Properly complete route ticket with customer signature.
Responsible for established route as assigned.
Responsible for company vehicle; keep vehicle in clean condition.
Conduct all safety checks and inspections of vehicle.
Operate vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Observe all company safety rules.
Attend all safety meetings.
Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting professional appearance and attitude.
Complete all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.).
Maintain and update vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
