About The Position

The Grease Processor is responsible for any aspect of processing our raw material into a finished product, this will include evaluation of any process problems as well as finished product loadout. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Oversees grease processing from raw material trucks and trailers to finished goods storage. Maintains inventory to insure efficient use of process tanks. Maintains grease storage containers including cleaning and painting. Monitor cooking temperatures to ensure control points are reached. Control flow of material from process tanks and finished goods storage to load out. Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all equipment in process. Monitor machinery; bring all problems to attention of manager. Assures equipment and work area is clean after each shift. Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferably in a production environment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Good mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting; skilled in general mechanics and safe operation of equipment preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Good oral and written skills preferred.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
