About The Position

Lightspeed is looking for a Graphic Designer to join its internal creative and brand team. We are seeking a creative collaborator who thrives in 'getting things done,' someone who can take a concept and turn it into a world-class visual experience. This role is about elevating the brand through high-level execution, ensuring our global identity remains consistent, accurate, and impactful across all markets we touch. Reporting to the General Brand Art Director, you will act as the primary driver of multi-channel initiatives. This is a role for a designer who loves the craft of production and has the technical discipline to manage the space between concept and a perfect finished product.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in graphic design, with proven experience in digital-first, high-performance environments.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional technical execution, precise typography, proven layout skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • A 'maker' mindset: You find satisfaction in the production process and understand that beautiful design must serve business performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite: You are comfortable with design systems and established templates.
  • Operational independence: You manage deadlines, adapt to the pace of a global tech company, and know how to prioritize a busy queue.
  • Attention to detail: You spot the small details others miss, ensuring every file is technically sound and visually consistent.
  • Collaborative spirit: You maintain a positive attitude while being able to take feedback and make improvements.
  • As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, proficiency in English as a working language is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • High-impact execution: Lead the design and production of multi-platform projects, ensuring creative excellence and strict brand consistency across all global channels.
  • Brand integrity management: Act as the daily guardian of our visual identity, adhering to systems and standards, in collaboration with designers and brand leaders.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with marketing managers, content writers, and product marketers to translate strategic objectives into high-performing visual assets.
  • End-to-end production: Design, adapt, and produce high-quality digital (and print) assets, including integrated campaigns, sales enablement tools, social media content, and landing pages.
  • Technical mastery: Deliver non-pixelated outputs while maintaining organized and scalable design files (Figma/Adobe) that the entire team can rely on.
  • Trend and style integration: Stay current with design technologies and trends to keep our execution fresh and competitive.
  • Peer support: Act as a creative resource and quality control for junior designers, ensuring the team's output maintains a 'good to excellent' standard.
  • Project ownership: Independently manage your workflows and deadlines, collaborating with project managers to optimize delivery without sacrificing quality.

Benefits

  • Lightspeed Employee Share Purchase Plan (we are all owners).
  • Unlimited Paid Time Off policy.
  • Flexible work arrangement.
  • Health insurance.
  • Wellness benefit of $500 per year.
  • Paid parental leave and new parent support.
  • Online mental health platform and counseling/coaching services.
