About The Position

Hub Pen Company, part of the HPG Brands, is an award-winning supplier in the promotional products industry supplying imprinted quality writing instruments to its distributors throughout the United States and Canada. This is a career opportunity to join our dynamic, fast growing, privately held company, and become part of our winning team. We are looking for a full-time Graphics Associate. This entry-level position will assist in the creation of final production ready art files using prescribed specifications and procedures. Create proofs of art for customer approval. Inspect customer supplied art and modify as necessary to meet print specifications. The hours for the entry level Graphics Associate are 8:30am – 5:00pm but are flexible. Pay range is $19-$20 per hour.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year experience in digital print and design
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw graphic software
A well-rounded understanding of typography, design, and production techniques.
An impeccable eye for fine details
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
Must maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in a professional environment
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Team player
Good time-management skills
Reliable means of transportation
The demands are in the nature to stand, sit, and move within the office
Utilization of office equipment, and the capacity to lift up to 15 pounds
Duties may involve hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
Ability to quickly inspect & detect discrepancies in fine details
Ability to read, see, and differentiate between color
