About The Position

Mount Wachusett Community College (MWCC) is seeking qualified and competent experts to join their pool of adjunct faculty. This role is responsible for providing students with a high-quality learning environment by utilizing focused expertise and experience in classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms. Adjunct faculty positions are part-time, non-benefited, and applications are held in applicant pools by discipline. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a major in course content area
• Evidence of competence in the area of instruction
• Maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years teaching experience in a community college
• Master degree with a major in course content area

Responsibilities

• Instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes
• Instructional preparation
• Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion
• Availability to students by appointment when mutually convenient
• Attendance at not more than one faculty meeting per session
• Other duties as required
