Graphic Designer

Pola MarketingCovington, LA

About The Position

We're a marketing and creative agency looking for a Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. You'll design across the full spectrum of what an agency produces—brand identities, campaign assets, social content, packaging, pitch decks, web graphics, and the occasional weird side project that turns into something great. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes design. You sweat the kerning, you have strong opinions about typography, and you can switch gears from a polished brand system one day to a scroll-stopping social ad the next. You're hungry to do great work and ready to grow alongside a team that takes craft seriously.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience, ideally in an agency, studio, or in-house creative environment
  • A portfolio that shows range, conceptual thinking, and a clear point of view—not just polished execution
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and fluency in Figma
  • Strong typography skills and a solid grasp of layout, composition, and color
  • Experience designing for both digital and print, with an understanding of production requirements for each
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Openness to feedback and a collaborative spirit—you can defend your ideas without being precious
  • Attention to detail that borders on obsessive (we mean that as a compliment)

Nice To Haves

  • Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie, or similar)
  • Experience with packaging design or environmental graphics
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or familiarity with web design handoff
  • Illustration or hand-lettering chops
  • Experience designing for brands in CPG, beauty, apparel, hospitality, or e-commerce

Responsibilities

  • Design across a wide range of deliverables: brand identity systems, digital ads, social content, print collateral, packaging, presentations, and web assets
  • Take projects from concept to final files—sketching, exploring, refining, and producing
  • Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, photographers, and account managers to bring campaigns to life
  • Interpret creative briefs and translate strategy into visual ideas that solve real client problems
  • Develop and extend brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint
  • Prepare files for print and digital production, working with vendors and developers as needed
  • Present and explain your work confidently to internal teams and, eventually, clients
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and techniques—and bring fresh thinking to the table

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • A collaborative studio culture that values craft, curiosity, and a good lunch debate
  • Real opportunities to grow into senior design and art direction roles
