About The Position

The Graphic Designer is responsible for maintaining the company's family of brands' messaging, both internally and externally. This involves conceptualizing, creating, designing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining the company's visual representation across all marketing aspects, including marketing materials, digital advertising, sales documents, trade show materials, social media, vehicle wraps, and web graphics. The ideal candidate is a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who strives for design excellence, enjoys challenges, supports the marketing team, and is results-driven, seeking a broader role in business success through strategic marketing functions. The role requires brand storytelling using specific style guides to ensure consistency and deliver powerful campaigns, leveraging strong graphics ability with attention to detail and strategic thinking. The candidate will create graphics in a technical environment while maintaining brand standards and style for visual concepts and creative solutions in various marketing scenarios.

Requirements

  • BA/BS (minimum) degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced, technical knowledge of graphic design (and related) software applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Exceptional written communication, demonstrate initiative and project management skills.
  • Experience in proofreading.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner AND work as a team, think creatively and problem-solve when faced with challenges.
  • Design portfolio required.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple Family of Home Services brands in various marketing projects.
  • Technical design marketing materials, brochures, flyers, posters, email headers, trade show banners, vehicle wraps and more.
  • Photo editing, including color correction, background removals, resizing, etc.
  • Design and create for specific social media platforms
  • Coordinate with third party marketing partners (ie: agencies, print partners, promotional product suppliers)
  • Have working knowledge of digital marketing campaigns (ie: email marketing, SEO/SEM)
  • Create, maintain and improve web graphics.
  • Maintain and organize document archives.
