About The Position

Rogers Sports & Media (RSM) is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer with strong print and digital experience to support our sports properties. Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll create best-in-class work for Canada's premier sports media brand and other sports brands within the RSM portfolio. You have a sharp eye for layout, composition, typography, and photography, paired with knowledge of print production, including file setup, pre-flight, and QA. You excel in a fast-paced environment, balancing creative thinking with meticulous production skills. You're a strong multitasker, problem-solver, and self-starter who thrives on delivering high-quality work across multiple projects. Your design sensibility, awareness of cultural trends, and love of sports (NHL, MLB, NBA, and more) fuel your creativity from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong concepts, typography, composition, and image selection
  • Professional graphic design experience in an agency or in-house environment
  • Strong print and digital production expertise; able to design for any format and deliver flawless files
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and professional
  • Impeccable taste in design, typography, colour, and detail
  • Ability to clearly articulate creative vision
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Delivers on-brand, high-quality designs with quick turnarounds
  • Understands brand systems and applies them consistently across all mediums
  • Handles deadlines confidently and stays organized
  • Love for sports

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, design, and execution of campaigns for major sports brands including Sportsnet, NHL, MLB, and NBA.
  • Produce a wide range of assets across digital (social, broadcast, DOOH) and print (OOH, booths, event signage).
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that moves at the pace of the sports and media industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and clients to bring ideas to life.
  • Contribute to a variety of projects and brands, balancing quick daily deliverables with larger multi-month campaigns.
  • Design with motion in mind, thinking beyond static layouts to ensure work translates seamlessly across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Work cross-functionally with motion, editorial, and production teams to bring ideas to life at a high creative standard.
