About The Position

The Graphic Designer is a talented and detail-oriented creative professional who thrives in a corporate environment, values consistency, and brings innovative thinking to templated communications. This role plays a key part in executing and finalizing print and digital design requests for employee benefits, adhering to established branding and design guidelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits design and production.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital, print, and/or broadcast communications required.
  • Proficiency with Adobe, Asana, and Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience working with templates, paragraph/character styles, and style sheets.
  • Ability to work within brand guidelines while maintaining creativity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and across departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work under high pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Employee benefits knowledge is desired.
  • Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Agency Management System (AMS) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Follows design direction to ensure projects are properly branded, engaging, scalable, and efficient.
  • Assists in creative brainstorming and ensures designs align with overall communication strategies.
  • Has the ability and experience to quickly solve problems, issues, or delays regarding print or digital design and production deliverables.
  • On an as-needed basis, works with departmental teams to create or update collateral that supports pre- and post-sales deliverables, such as custom previews of campaigns, white papers, case studies, infographics, brochures, RFPs, and other special projects.
  • Helps create custom designs for a revenue-generating communications program that fulfills the needs and expectations of clients.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings to showcase capabilities and provide guidance tailored to specific client needs.
  • Identifies new areas for learning to improve team skills and on-the-job performance.
  • Is aware of changes in employee benefits regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure communication efforts are compliant.
