About The Position

FASTSIGNS of Lynn Haven is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer to create and prepare graphics and vinyl output for production. The role includes producing graphics for printing and mounting to substrates, or for cutting and application. The designer completes or modifies artwork from customer drawings and files, prepares customer-provided designs for output, and determines layout, type style and size, and arrangement based on available space, aesthetics, and production requirements. The designer checks jobs for accuracy, verifies materials and output-device settings, maintains the customer logo library, converts graphic files, and coordinates with the production team. Requirements

1–2 years of graphic design experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
Ability to prioritize jobs, multitask, and work autonomously.
Ability to determine the best output method based on customer needs.
Ability to sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more).
Ability to work under pressure while producing high-volume, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Create full-color graphics and vinyl output for printing and mounting to a substrate, or for weeding, cutting, and application.
Complete or modify designs from customer drawings or files, or prepare customer-provided designs for output.
Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; select type style and size; and arrange layouts based on available space, aesthetics, and production requirements.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output; ensure the correct material is used and output-device settings are accurate.
Maintain the customer logo library and convert graphic files.
Coordinate output with the production team.
