About The Position

Lane Forest Products is a company with over 225 employees and is a statewide leader in the manufacturing of organic soils, compost and mulch throughout the northwest. We are currently seeking an in-house talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director to shape and execute visual strategies that support both internal initiatives and external brand presence. Requirements

  • Strong visual design skills and creative thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organization, planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and innovation in a dynamic environment
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in design and media tools such as: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, DaVinci Resolve, and emerging AI tools
  • Experience with web design and CMS platforms
  • Experience with Social Media design
  • Understanding of marketing, branding, and visual communication
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to continuously improve workflows and contribute strategically
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years in graphic design and web CMS

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to understand business goals and design requirements
  • Develop creative concepts and execute high-quality visual solutions
  • Design across multiple media: print, web, video, photography, and social media
  • Produce accurate, polished, and camera-ready artwork
  • Create rough sketches and visual concepts to communicate ideas
  • Contribute innovative design ideas and creative direction
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies
  • Support interactive and web-based design projects
  • Work cross-functionally with printers, marketers, developers, and other creatives
