About The Position

Goodway Technologies is seeking a talented Graphic Designer, early in their career, to join their Creative Team within the Marketing Department. This role involves bringing ideas to life across print, digital, photography, video, and emerging AI-powered creative tools. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing compelling visual communications to support marketing initiatives across various platforms, including print, digital, web, email, social media, trade shows, and product launches. This position is crucial for maintaining and evolving the visual identity of Goodway Technologies and its associated brands. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional design skills, a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and thrives in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. They should be a collaborative team player, open to feedback, and take pride in producing high-quality creative work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory, branding, and print production.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow creative direction while contributing thoughtful, original ideas.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Comfortable exploring and leveraging AI-powered creative tools (including Adobe Firefly) to improve creative workflows while maintaining originality, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • A portfolio is required for consideration. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Portfolio should showcase a range of print and digital design work demonstrating strong visual communication, typography, layout, brand execution, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
  • Photography, photo editing, and video editing experience.
  • Experience creating marketing content for both print and digital platforms.
  • Experience shooting photography and video for marketing campaigns.
  • Basic copywriting or content creation experience.
  • Experience managing creative assets across multiple brands while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, manufacturing, industrial, or technical industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design print marketing materials including brochures, flyers, product sheets, advertisements, trade show graphics, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Design digital marketing assets including website graphics, landing pages, email campaigns, social media content, and digital advertisements.
  • Develop creative concepts that strengthen Goodway's brands while ensuring all work adheres to established brand guidelines.
  • Maintain visual consistency across multiple brands and product lines.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team and Marketing Department on campaigns, product launches, product marketing initiatives, and corporate communications.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for commercial printing and digital distribution.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries, including photography, illustrations, logos, and artwork.
  • Assist with in-house photography, photo editing, and image retouching.
  • Support video production through filming, editing, motion graphics, and creating short-form marketing content when needed.
  • Occasionally assist with basic copywriting, headline development, and content refinement.
  • Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
