Requirements

• 5+ years of Graphic Design experience with evidence of some formal training in the field
• Strong layout publication and graphics design skills
• Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint experience
• Experience in Lightform Creator, Aquia Widen Hub, Brightcove, digital asset management systems
• Experience with Tableau
• Experience with video production, web content, and social media
• Knowledge of both traditional and digital formats (including 3-D)
• Confident in the ability provide technical and/or artistic advice to staff about visual information
• Experienced creating wireframe mockups of new content for external sites
• Demonstrates flexibility and ability to pivot creative direction with ease
• Ability to work directly with clients, especially agency leadership
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Ability to work creatively but with efficiency
• Collaborative
• Strong understanding of design principles and branding
• Skilled with document layout, promotional graphics, and infographics
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience
• Minimum 5 years of specific experience in the field of Graphic Design
• Public Trust clearance required to start
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident work status required

Nice To Haves

• Illustration skill is a plus
• Knowledge of Drupal a plus
• Still photography and photo editing skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and/or artistic advice to staff about visual information
• Create dynamic/interactive maps from a data source using Tableau
• Produce video content
• Create web content
• Create social media content
• Create wireframe mockups of new content for external sites
• Pivot creative direction with ease
• Work directly with clients, especially agency leadership
• Collaborate with team members
