This role involves creating high-quality, human-centered visual and communication products. The Graphic Designer will develop graphics, publications, templates, brand assets, mapping products, and UI-aligned visual materials to support ISG MPP deliverables. A key aspect of the role is translating complex engineering or mission requirements into clear, intuitive visual outputs for government clients. The position also supports Human-Centered Design (HCD) Engineering Workflows by engaging in user-centered design processes such as storyboarding, layout development, simple animation/GIF work, and iterative refinement. The designer will apply HCD principles, including prototyping, wireframing, usability considerations, design systems, and design-engineering integration. Collaboration with proteges, Dow and IC Agencies, and Guidehouse Stakeholders is essential, requiring frequent engagement with cross-functional partners to refine requirements, solicit feedback, iterate quickly, and maintain design accuracy. Strong communication skills are needed for project discussions, syncs, and design review sessions. The role also demands meticulous management of design files, organization, and delivery quality, ensuring impeccable file/layer organization and preparing deliverables that are easily inheritable by any team member. Accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all MPP artifacts are critical. The Graphic Designer will operate as a reliable contributor within the HCD Team, participating in visibility/value syncs and sharing ongoing work, bringing creativity, positivity, and client-centric delivery to every engagement.
