About The Position

Gate City Bank is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to bring ideas to life and help tell our story through compelling visuals. This role will complete creative work for a variety of external and internal touchpoints including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.

Requirements

Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design or related field; 5 years professional experience in graphic arts/design; or a combination of education with a strong portfolio showing competency in design, illustration, logo creation and/or ad layout.
Print, digital, photography and video design experience required.
Thorough and detailed with strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy.
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Create engaging and effective graphic design solutions for delivery across multiple channels including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.
Ensure all marketing documents are properly proofed, edited and meets compliance regulations.
Present design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval.
Ensure all work consistently meets brand standards and guidelines.
Provide information on trends, innovations and competitors in graphic design.
Provide a great customer service experience for team members and customers.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers and vendors.
