About The Position

NeoPollard Interactive (NPi) is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to contribute to the evolution of Play Alberta, a prominent digital entertainment brand in Canada. This role involves creating visual assets for various marketing channels, including email campaigns, websites, the Play Alberta app, paid media, and social media. The designer will be responsible for transforming game provider assets into on-brand creative, managing and organizing creative assets, and updating a creative asset management system (Airtable). The position requires collaboration with marketers, designers, and content creators, balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, and contributing to the creative direction of the brand. The role focuses primarily on graphic design, with occasional support for content management.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of graphic design and content management experience.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Comfortable with the MS Office Suite (Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing workload in a remote work environment.
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration with teammates across marketing, creative, and content.
  • Adaptability and comfort with shifting priorities as campaigns and business needs evolve.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working remotely.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and content management tools (like dotCMS).

Responsibilities

  • Design creative assets for email campaigns, websites, the Play Alberta app, paid media, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Transform game-provider assets into polished, on-brand creative that reflects Play Alberta's voice, visual identity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Download, organize, and prepare creative assets from game providers for use across marketing campaigns.
  • Update and maintain the creative asset management system (Airtable), helping keep projects organized and production moving efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketers, designers, and content creators to develop creative solutions and contribute ideas during weekly team meetings.
  • Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
  • Help shape the creative direction of one of Canada's fastest-growing digital entertainment brands during a transformative period for Alberta's regulated gaming industry.
