About The Position

FASTSIGNS DENTON is seeking a Graphic Designer to collaborate with team members and customers on creative design projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment. The role involves preparing print-ready artwork, managing proofs and templates, checking jobs for accuracy, and supporting customer logo needs. The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, reliable, and able to handle multiple projects while producing clean, eye-catching work. This is a Monday–Friday position with little to no evening or weekend hours. Compensation is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of graphic design experience in a production environment.
Very strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong digital content skills.
Prompt, reliable, and responsible.

Nice To Haves

Advanced education degree preferred.
Previous sign or print industry experience preferred.
Photo touch-up and straightening/scaling experience preferred.
Experience with roll-to-roll printers preferred.
Strong skills with Pantone, CMYK color space, ICC profiles, and color management preferred.
Production sign skills, such as weeding, masking, vinyl application, and vehicle graphics application, preferred.
Graphics or production management skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members and customers on designs and proofs, and upload proofs to the sales system.
Maintain a design template library containing common artwork and logos.
Prepare comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction.
Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to production.
Maintain and source customer logos.
Work on different projects simultaneously.
Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
