About The Position
Honor Life Memorials is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer with expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to join our team in Vista, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent design skills, and the ability to create high-quality memorial artwork and engravings that honor the lives of our clients’ loved ones. This role involves creating graphics to meet a commercial or promotional need, handling graphic projects from start to finish, developing and maintaining image library files, and submitting rough layouts for project approval.
Requirements
- Previous experience in graphic design or other related fields
- Knowledge of design and photo-editing software
- Must have Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (required).
- Experience in vector-based design, typography, and image editing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in memorial design, engraving, or a related field is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Create eye-catching graphics and engaging designs
- Handle graphic projects from start to finish
- Develop and maintain image library files
- Submit rough layouts for project approval
- Design and prepare artwork for engraving on headstones, plaques, and memorial products.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and edit vector graphics, typography, and photo enhancements.
- Ensure all designs meet company standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to finalize artwork for engraving.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding design approvals and revisions.
- Maintain organized files and follow workflow processes for production efficiency.
