Graphic Designer

Rise Up Selects•Salt Lake City, UT
•$55,000 - $75,000•Hybrid

About The Position

The Graphic Designer creates the work that people see first - the key art that stops a scroll, the ad that sells a ticket, the signage that makes a field feel like a festival. You will design across the full Rise Up Selects portfolio: our own festivals and concerts, and the client events we market under service agreements. The work spans digital and physical, from a 1080x1080 story frame to a 40-foot stage banner, and it moves fast. A lineup gets confirmed on a Tuesday and announces on a Thursday. This is a role for someone with a real point of view about design who can also hit a deadline without drama.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio that shows range
  • Demonstrated experience designing for paid social and digital advertising, not just brand work
  • Experience preparing print-ready and large-format files

  • Working knowledge of print production, color management, and file prep for large format
  • Experience working in ClickUp or a similar project management system

  • Understanding of platform specs and what actually performs in a feed versus what looks good in a deck
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuine point of view about design, paired with the flexibility to work across genres that look nothing alike
  • Fast without being careless; able to turn around an announce asset same-day when the moment calls for it
  • Exceptionally organized with files, versions, and naming
  • Collaborative and open to feedback, including from people who are not designers
  • Comfortable working in a shared project management system and keeping your tasks and statuses current
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding unannounced lineups, strategic plans, and client information
  • Energized by a fast-paced environment and motivated by seeing your work out in the world on a field full of people
