About The Position

Transform technology into opportunity as a Graphic Designer at GDIT. Shape what’s next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what’s next for your software development career. As a Graphic Designer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful, supporting the Navy Neptune Enterprise Cloud Management team. Our Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling, on-brand creative assets that support communication, marketing, training, and project objectives. This role develops digital and print designs, ensures brand consistency across materials, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative solutions within deadlines.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
  • 3 years of professional Graphic Design experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or other relevant design tools.
  • Strong typography, layout, and branding skills.
  • Ability to interpret feedback and iterate designs effectively.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design work.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or basic animation.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
  • Knowledge of corporate branding and internal communications.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce digital assets including presentations, infographics, social media graphics, web elements, and email templates.
  • Create print materials such as brochures, posters, reports, signage, and promotional items.
  • Translate complex information into clear, engaging visual concepts.
  • Develop and maintain visual brand standards, templates, and style guides.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective creative solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all designs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare final artwork files for publishing and production.
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies.
