We are seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming creative concepts into high-quality, print-ready designs. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Department and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, meet all quality standards, and align with client expectations. This role demands excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and proficiency in design software.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in graphic design, printing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
  • Experience preparing files for print and knowledge of production processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the graphic communication or printing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and clients, providing design support and ensuring client specifications are met.
  • Act as a key member of the Creative Department, contributing to various design projects and supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Follow production procedures to ensure projects move smoothly through production stages.
  • Prepare electronic files for the Electronic Prepress (EPP) team, ensuring designs are formatted correctly and efficiently.
  • Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop creative designs as required, ensuring they meet client needs and project deadlines.
  • Deliver high-quality designs that consistently exceed client standards and preferences.
  • Ensure all designs meet quality standards before sending them to the Prepress team.
  • Identify potential risks and take proactive steps to minimize exposure during project execution.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team.
