Requirements

  • Available for weekend work shifts & overtime as needed.
  • Background in graphic design, typography, photography.
  • Ability to direct and articulate strong design and oversee brand execution.
  • Skill set to prioritize heavy, constant changing workload.
  • Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions and deadlines.
  • Above average listening and communication skills (oral & written).
  • Strong computer skills using the full Adobe suite.
  • Knowledge of file types and implications of conversions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problem files (Fonts, missing links, resolution).
  • Energetic and enthusiastic and work well in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, self-managing and possess above average interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and ability to proofread copy and data.
  • Ability to pass an advanced skills aptitude test.
  • Ability to communicate (read, speak, write, understand) in English.
  • Safety conscious with ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work alone and under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to contribute to building a strong and positive team spirit as well as align with GSP values.

Nice To Haves

  • Skills in CAD, 3D modeling software, Blender, or Sketchup a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design promotional materials on brand with production accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other Strategy & Design team members to develop and execute projects.
  • Collaborate with the internal design team to develop new ideas, when needed.
  • Research, create, design, and develop to new ideas and products, as needed.
  • Solve design problems through normal creative process, for approval.
  • Retouching, clipping, masking and/or color correcting raster images.
  • Analyzing proof prints and assessing for necessary changes.
  • Make suggestions that may reduce cost, enhance quality and delivery as it relates to layout and file construction.
  • Troubleshooting and editing layouts and support files.
  • Visually matching colors across different media.
  • Performing proportional math for sizing and resolution.
  • Proofreading and signoff on final art before submission to print departments.
  • Creation of impositioned files for printing and cutting departments.
  • Communicating technical issues to coworkers of varied expertise.
  • Maintaining the organization of design files according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Following all established Department and Company standards and procedures as they relate to quality, throughput, performance of administrative duties, and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
