About The Position

DLH Corp is looking for a Public Health Graphic Designer to join their team supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA. The role will assist the CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), Division of HIV Prevention (DHP) in its mission to prevent HIV infection and reduce its incidence and related deaths. The position will provide support for data management, data governance, data analysis, and data dissemination to strengthen nationwide HIV epidemic monitoring capacity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related discipline
2 years of experience working with digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to develop and design visual assets for print, web, and social media marketing.
Skilled at developing concept art for stakeholder feedback.
Must be able to obtain a NAC clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with HIV prevention promotion
Prior experience with CDC, HHS, or other federal or state health agency.
Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related discipline.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, create images for, design, develop, and enhance dissemination products including Web content, social media materials, fact sheets, and other documents.
Use information from various data/information sources to prepare information content and documents.
Ensure dissemination products are accurate, clearly written, and accessible on the web using established usability and Section 508 guidelines.
Support efforts on multiple health promotion campaigns.
