About The Position

Are you a creative Graphic Designer with sharp organizational instincts and a talent for keeping projects moving seamlessly? Do you thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments where your design eye, technical precision, and clear communication keep creative initiatives running on schedule? We’re looking for an enthusiastic part-time Graphic Designer / Project Coordinator to join our Design department. Reporting directly to the Design Manager, you will team up with our Design crew to bring visual ideas to life, handle key project logistics, and ensure top-notch follow-up across a wide range of graphic design initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • B.A. or Certificate in Graphic Design (or equivalent experience backed by a strong portfolio)
  • Strong typography skills, excellent design sense, and visual restraint with a commitment to maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Working knowledge of file organization and naming conventions.
  • Technical understanding of the design process across digital and print/production environments (or a strong desire to master it on the job).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to communicate directly with vendors and stakeholders beyond email.

Nice To Haves

  • Video editing skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and log incoming design requests in the department's Trello board, maintaining progress updates and proactively keeping projects moving forward.
  • Determine necessary resources for design briefs, collaborating with print vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal team members to execute projects.
  • Provide creative support for design briefs both independently and collaboratively, ensuring all deliverables align with brand parameters.
  • Maintain consistent contact with colleagues, outside contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay current on design technologies, tools, and production methods, while seeking opportunities for team recognition through design awards, competitions, and publications.
