About The Position

The "Maker" Role at FASTSIGNS Design the City. Master the Craft. Own the Workflow. Are you a designer who is tired of your work living and dying on a glowing screen? Do you crave the satisfaction of seeing your digital creations transformed into massive, physical landmarks that define your community? We are FASTSIGNS of Coeur d’Alene , and we are launching a brand-new, state-of-the-art center. We aren't just looking for someone to "push pixels." We are looking for a Founding Graphic Designer who wants to be a "Maker"—someone who takes pride in the entire journey from a blank Adobe Illustrator artboard to a high-fidelity, finished physical product. Why This Design Role is Different In most shops, "fast" means "chaos." In our shop, "fast" means optimized. The "Calm" Workflow: Guided by a veteran owner with a proven track record, our design and production area is unhurried, organized, and intentional. No "I need it yesterday" surprises—just a clear, visual work board and a team that stays ahead of the curve. The "Maker" Experience: You won’t just be sitting at a desk. You’ll be the master of our brand-new, FASTSIGNS-exclusive Epson printer fleet and Mutoh plotters. You’ll see your work move from the screen, through the printer, and into the real world. A Protected Creative Space: Our sales team is trained to set realistic expectations. We know our name is FASTSIGNS, but we also know that quality takes a process. We protect your queue so you can focus on excellence. Mentorship & Growth: Start with a fully-paid, one-week professional training in May at our HQ in Carrollton, TX. You'll return to a shop where the owners are invested in your success and provide the tools for you to do your best work—your way.
