About The Position

This internship is ideal for students majoring in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, or a related field. We are looking for creative thinkers with transferable skills, a strong eye for design, and a willingness to learn. The intern will be part of a collaborative creative team, bringing ideas to life across digital, print, and environmental design. They will gain real-world experience by contributing to projects that support both employees and Veterans. Responsibilities include brainstorming concepts, preparing final deliverables, working alongside experienced designers and marketers, building a portfolio, and sharpening creative skills. The intern will receive mentorship, constructive feedback, and opportunities to learn industry best practices while contributing to real campaigns and company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Majoring in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Creative thinking with transferable skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing polished, high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of individual projects.
  • Openness to feedback and seeing it as an opportunity for improvement.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and balance deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • A portfolio showcasing creativity, design thinking, and technical abilities (through classwork, personal projects, freelance work, or previous internships).

Responsibilities

  • Designing visual assets for a variety of projects, including digital marketing, print materials, event support, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Brainstorming creative concepts and collaborating with designers and project owners to develop engaging visual solutions.
  • Assisting with the production and organization of design files, ensuring projects are prepared for digital and print delivery.
  • Working alongside designers, project owners, and vendors to help bring creative ideas from concept through completion.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand project goals, incorporate feedback, and help keep projects on schedule.
  • Learning new design techniques, software, and creative processes while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
