About The Position

Walsworth, a leading high school yearbook company and a top printer in the U.S., is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team in Overland Park. This is a temporary, 12-week position starting around October 2026. The role is on-site with a set schedule, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The designer will be responsible for creating visual designs that educate, motivate, and engage customers, prospects, and internal departments, ensuring brand consistency across various platforms like print and digital.

Requirements

• Two-plus years of work experience, preferably within a marketing group.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office on Mac.
• Strong creative, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Experience in print and digital design.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Creative Arts related field or a related function OR Associate degree in a Creative Arts related field and 2 years of experience in Graphic Design or a related function OR High School Diploma or GED and six years’ experience in Graphic Design or a related function.
• Ability to work 100% on-site at the Overland Park office for 12 weeks.
• Must be able to pass a standard, pre-employment drug screen, background check, and social media screening.
• Must hold U.S. work authorization.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing and production experience.
• HTML and web design experience.
• Product photography experience.
• Familiarity with yearbook and/or Walsworth.

Responsibilities

• Concepting and presenting compelling visual designs to educate, motivate, and engage customers, prospects, and internal departments.
• Designing marketing materials for the Corporate, Yearbook, or Commercial divisions, ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborating with internal teams and project requestors to conceptualize and execute creative solutions for print, digital, and experiential platforms.
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Supporting other designers and working independently to complete projects.
