The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is recruiting for Extra Help Graphic Designers I to create and produce a high volume of diverse, visually engaging print materials. Extra Help Graphic Designers I will develop and produce a wide variety of visual communication materials in support of Department of Behavioral Health programs, campaigns, outreach activities, presentations, trainings, and initiatives. Incumbents will create original graphic materials using approved County/Department branding and primarily computer-based design techniques and perform related duties as required. The incumbent will work with DBH staff to clarify project objectives, audiences, content, timelines, and production needs; develops design concepts and drafts for review; incorporates approved revisions; and prepares final materials for distribution, printing, display, presentation, or digital use. Assignments may include support for general Department of Behavioral Health programs and services, the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP), Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA), Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Act, and other Department-wide campaigns, events, and initiatives.
