About The Position

Sistema.bio is dedicated to the transition to renewable energy, emissions reduction, and the adoption of regenerative agriculture to build a more sustainable world. We support small and medium-sized farms across Africa, Asia, and Latin America with biodigesters, biofertilizers, financing, and technical assistance, enhancing their productivity and autonomy. Our mission addresses food security, social justice, and climate change. This internship offers a chance to be part of this impactful initiative. As a Graphic Design & Multimedia Intern on the global team, you will contribute to the evolution of Sistema.bio’s visual identity through creative projects with international reach. You will collaborate with teams in Africa, LATAM, Asia, the EU, and the UK, with a special focus on India, ensuring brand consistency across diverse cultural contexts. This internship is structured as a significant learning experience, emphasizing skill development through active involvement, mentorship, and exposure to global projects. It is not an employment relationship and does not involve the responsibilities of a formal, full-time position.

Requirements

  • Active student of Design, Communication, Marketing, UX/UI, or any creative field.
  • Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into visual pieces adapted to different audiences and cultural contexts.
  • Conversational English proficiency for communication with the team in India.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of content for social media, digital channels, and educational materials for farmers and institutional clients.
  • Participate in creative sessions for the development of new concepts, campaigns, and visual materials.
  • Design graphic and multimedia assets using tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Perform basic and intermediate photo editing in Photoshop or Affinity.
  • Edit reels, shorts, and videos for social media, featuring farmer testimonials from various countries.
  • Provide visual design support for landing pages developed in WordPress and Squarespace.
  • Develop visual content related to agriculture, soil regeneration, waste management, climate crisis education, carbon markets, and food value chains.
  • Create illustrations, infographics, and iconography to translate technical and safety knowledge into clear, accessible materials.
