About The Position

Retrofete is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our NYC-based web team. As a Graphic Design Intern you will work with the in-house creative team to help build marketing assets. Duties will consist of assisting the graphic designers and photo editors with the development of email, ad, and social design.

Requirements

A passion for the fashion industry
Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree
Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for at least 3 months
Strong organizational and time management skills, highly motivated, self reliant with a "can do" attitude.
Demonstration of strong design style.
Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Nice To Haves

Experience with photo art direction, email design and retail fashion advertising is a plus.
Knowledge of Sketch and Capture One is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop solutions for marketing materials, including but not limited to: landing pages, email design, social stories, look books, and flyers
General admin duties
Maintain consistent brand identity across all channels.
Contribute to competitor research and design inspiration.
Assist with photo related duties: photo cropping, minor retouching, and formatting.
