About The Position

Nuuly is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join us for the summer. This intern will embed with our creative team, supporting design work across seasonal campaigns, web/app, email marketing, and organic and paid social. They'll get hands-on experience taking concepts from mood board to finished asset, collaborating closely with designers, copywriters, and creative leadership in a brand-driven environment. It's a chance to contribute real work across multiple channels while learning how a modern rental brand builds and sustains its visual identity. About the Summer Internship Program: Each summer, URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business they choose to pursue. Summer Internship Program Application Process: Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position. Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application. Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis. Applications will close at 5:00 PM EST on October 30, 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • A creative portfolio demonstrating layout, typography, and visual design skills — required to be considered
  • A concept-first thinker with a good eye for detail and an interest in fashion, retail, and editorial design
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-energy environment and managing a few projects at once
  • Based in or able to relocate to Philadelphia for the summer program
  • Project Requirement: In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role please submit a Design Project (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred). Once you complete your project, please upload it to the additional documents section in the application process. Create a design (site layout, store signage, set of posters, animated webpage, suite of branding or marketing materials, etc.) that demonstrates your creativity and understanding of the brand culture, voice & aesthetic. Explain how/why this idea fits in with our brand, and how it would function. How would you help us create a stronger visual and conceptual relationship between all the different channels of our brand? This is the creative part of the application so have fun with it! Nice To Haves

  • Motion or basic video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce assets across web, email, paid ads, and organic social, adapting concepts to different specs and formats
  • Support seasonal campaign development, from mood boards and concept exploration through to production-ready files
  • Help with photoshoot prep and wrap — gathering references, building simple decks, and keeping selects organized
  • Maintain brand consistency across deliverables, working within established design systems, color palettes, and templates
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with copy, creative direction, and web/app teams to keep projects aligned and on schedule
  • Help keep design files, assets, and brand libraries organized and up to date
  • Contribute ideas in concepting sessions and creative reviews
