About The Position

Lyten is seeking a Graphene Manufacturing Team technician to operate automated assembly machines for graphene production. This role requires experience in operating and following SOPs, understanding production sequences, interacting with software tools like MES and LIMS, and meeting internal KPIs. The technician will support facility startup, develop work protocols for high volume production, maintain a safe and organized work environment, and support process transfer from R&D to high volume production. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals with at least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 years experience in a manufacturing or production-based environment.
Minimum of 1 years of proficiency in MS office tools.
Must pass a respirator fitment test.
Required chem-/bio-safety training upon hiring.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Safely operate (start-up, run, and shutdown) and maintain (assemble/disassemble) existing mechanical equipment.
Process materials and occasional conduct process equipment maintenance.
Ability to identify and help develop equipment and process improvements.
Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment. Report defective equipment or unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5S and LEAN manufacturing principles.
Perform quality inspection protocols to enable preparations of material against tight tolerances, high specifications.
Monitoring tool’s operation to ensure quality of product is maintained.
Record equipment related issues and alert facility manager or a process engineer.
Perform other duties as required or as requested by the manager.
