General Function: Under the general supervision of the Director of Major Gifts, the Grants Manager is a critical, donor-facing member of MFS’s high-performing development team. This role is responsible for managing the full grant lifecycle - prospect research and cultivation, proposal development and submission, award management when applicable, and reporting. The role also requires proactive participation in donor relations, current and prospective funder meetings, and broader development activities. The Grants Manager combines strong grant writing, stewardship, and reporting skills with relationship-building and solicitation responsibilities to bring in revenue, deepen funder engagement, and support organizational fundraising goals.
