We are currently expanding our consulting team and have an opportunity for a full-time, Grants Management Consultant to apply critical thinking skills, knowledge, and experience with Federal grants management to support design, implementation, and continuous improvement in financial management to support client missions. The Grants Management Consultant must have experience in Federal grants management with, or in support of a government agency.

Requirements

  • B.A. in public policy, public administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant grants management experience at a government agency or consulting firm.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, and SharePoint, and demonstrated ability to leverage to analyze and visualize data, develop presentations, manage knowledge, and support enterprise risk management.
  • Experience applying Uniform Guidance (2CFR Part 200), and related grants guidance.
  • Demonstrated interest in grants management, best practices, and continuous process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial certifications (CGFM, CGMS, or similar) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and support government clients' grants management operations, implementation, and continuous improvement over the grant and program lifecycle.
  • Analyze program, financial, and other relevant data to support effective and efficient implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, research, and improve business processes, training materials, and documentation for federal grant and other financial assistance programs.
  • Effectively and concisely communicate analysis and information internally and with clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings and discussions.
  • Utilize data analytics and visualization to evaluate and present data, processes, and recommend solutions compliant with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Craft high-quality presentations and data visualizations to communicate objectives and facilitate coordination across a variety of stakeholders.
  • Perform general project and task management, including use of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power BI, etc.) tools to assist in tracking and managing project work and deliverables.
  • Participate in business development activities.
